Warehouse Manager

Full-Time

Summary: Directs activities for organization at one or more warehouses by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate supervisors. 

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: includes the following but is not limited too:

Supervisory Responsibilities: Manages subordinate supervisors at the warehouse. Is responsible for the overall direction, coordination, and evaluation of the Company's services at a warehouse. Carries out supervisory responsibilities in accordance with the company's policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include interviewing, hiring, and training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems. Primary duty is the management of the company's business at the warehouse level.

Education and/or Experience: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) is preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. 

Language and Mathematical Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents is preferred such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the company. Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide is preferred. 

Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written or oral instructions and solve service problems.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk, and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include linear vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
